National Music Museum Video Promo
For this project we were to create a promo for something, I chose The National Music Museum in Vermillion, SD. Though it was a group project I took hold and did all the shooting and editing. I used Premiere Pro to edit the promo.
Graphic Communication Raging Bull Movie Poster
The project was to create a poster of a film that I enjoy. I picked Martin Scorceses's Raging Bull. The copy was to include the name of the film, the main actor, the filmmaker, and the day it released. I chose white copy to contrast the red and black, and chose the font as it felt bold and aggressive like the film. I chose silhouettes for a nice minimalist approach, and added film grain to the red background to give it some layering. I included the smoke to also give the flat silhouettes a bit more three dimensional look, and it fits the context. Through the film he battles with anger issues and the monster inside of him, so I thought it would be an interesting image to imagine him facing off against two sides of himself a raging bull and a man all in one.
D-Days Story Package
For this story package I decided to make a story on how the week effects students making it to the classroom. I shot many empty areas to go together with the context that some students may not be going to classes during Dakota Days. I edited this package on Premiere Pro.
